Front End Developer IV

A client with Kforce is seeking a Front End Developer IV in San Diego, CA. This role involves creating and maintaining web and hybrid mobile applications, developing dynamic front-end applications from design concept to implementation using JavaScript and industry-standard libraries. The developer will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with business stakeholders and QA teams to ensure application quality and compatibility. Key responsibilities include hands-on development with various front-end technologies.

Must Have

• Creating and maintaining web and hybrid mobile applications
• Create dynamic front-end applications from design concept to implementation
• Develop JavaScript to interact with industry standard libraries for rich client interactions on desktop, mobile web and mobile hybrid apps
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and input
• Work with QA and Development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of applications
• Front end development in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Hands-on development with front end technologies, including AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, node.js, Cordova, Rails
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, PostCSS, SASS, AJAX, JavaScript, Aurelia.js, React Native (Flexbox)
• Experience with automated testing, issue tracking and source control tools
• Strong skills in web and mobile design, user interface design, usability analysis and responsive design patterns
• Understanding of RESTful web-architectures and Services Oriented Architecture
• Experience with high volume, customer-centric web and mobile applications, commerce sites, multivariate testing

• Experience building cross-device hybrid mobile applications on iOS and Android

• Work with QA and Development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of applications

Requirements

• Experience with HTML5, CSS, PostCSS, SASS, AJAX, JavaScript, Aurelia.js, React Native (Flexbox) automated testing, issue tracking and source control tools
• Strong skills in web and mobile design, including working knowledge of the following: HTML5, CSS, PostCSS, SASS, AJAX, JavaScript, Aurelia.js, React Native (Flexbox) automated testing, issue tracking and source control tools
• Strong user interface design skills, usability analysis and experience with responsive design patterns

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
